Kobose ( 工房セバ ) is an independent design resolution studio based in Milano whose multidisciplinary skills come together, to create a more in-depth experience of design, creative strategy and communication culture.
Sebastiano Branca • designer, creative consultant, photographer and musician, after a degree in product design at Politecnico di Milano he began his career in 2005, starting immediately the discovery and various explorations of creative disciplines. captivated for connections and ephemeral or hidden relationships between concepts, things and topics, on these binary of interdisciplinary research he has traveled in the following years, expanding his professional knowledge thanks to which he has continuously fed his “project thirst” to date.
S/B promotes the application of creative thinking, methodical approach, wide curious research, daily life exploration, unexpected kindness, object upcycling and looking up more often eyes to the sky for appreciating life in its own form, a fantastic universe.
Guiding brands with regard to their tangible aspects in the areas of corporate, editorial, space, display and packaging design, with flexibility of application and consistency of a brand’s symbolic, emotional and rational content as guidelines.
CORPORATE AND GRAPHIC DESIGN
Defining guidelines, rules and standards to coordinate the various aspects of a brand in communication materials: from internal to external manifestations of the brand, from stationery to signs, from physical to digital support.
PACKAGING AND INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
Communicating the values and the distinctive features of the product through a combination of design, functionality, protection, conservation and transport. The aim is to present the brand, the product and its packaging as a uniquely identifiable whole.
Presenting the brand within the publishing world and continuing a strong relationship with the readers, who ensure the publication’s success. Showing, through both paper and multimedia channels, that the brand’s values are consistent with the guidelines set out in the design strategy.
EXHIBIT AND SPACE DESIGN
Bringing the brand into environments and spaces where it has a tangible physical presence. Creating temporary or permanent displays such as stands, shop windows and exhibitions with the aim of giving the target market a memorable, distinctive and multi sensory experience.
3D MODELING, RENDERING, ANIMATION AND MOTION GRAPHIC
Advanced 3D modeling applied to computer graphics, with development of primary and secondary geometric technical 3D modeling. Photorealistic image production defining the essential steps for the realization with surfacing [creation of surface materials], mapping [definition of projection coordinates], texture application, stage set-up, scene lighting, definition of cameras, rendering of the scene and/or setting action steps for creating an animation video.
RAPID PROTOTYPING, 3D PRINTING AND MOCK-UP
Rapid prototyping [RP] aimed at physically producing a prototype in a relatively short time, starting with a three-dimensional mathematical definition of the object. With 3D printing RP, an additive technology, objects, mock-up, ideas, or concept can be produced layer by layer, starting directly from a 3D model.
