CHALLENGE
How do you create a standout identity for a new, pop-inspired product when the primary packaging is a pre-defined standard?
The challenge for Aquolina's new Lip Oil line was to infuse a standard container with a unique, vibrant personality. We were tasked with building a complete sensory world around the product—from its visual identity to its in-store presence—transforming a given constraint into an opportunity for intelligent design.
THE SOLUTION: A MULTI-LAYERED DESIGN SYSTEM
We developed a complete concept that blended aesthetics, function, and storytelling, focusing on different key areas:

1. Packaging: The Curved Canvas
Our work began by mastering the constraint of the bottle. We developed a visual system where each of the six fragrances has a distinct, recognizable personality. To ensure maximum impact, the logo underwent a process of meticulous optical calibration. Its form was refined to counteract the distortion of the curved surface, guaranteeing flawless legibility from any angle. This precision work transformed the standard bottle into a unique brand statement.

2. From Name to Icon: Materializing a Wordmark with AI
To give the product name "LIP OIL" its own iconic status, we designed a unique logotype for it. The goal was to elevate it from simple text to a visual symbol. We then used generative AI to give this logotype a tangible, almost tactile "material" (substance). This Human-AI process allowed us to apply a vibrant, three-dimensional texture, transforming the name into a pop-art emblem that truly embodies the product's playful and sensory nature.

3. A Flexible In-Store Experience 
To complete the project, we designed a modular point-of-sale display system (both counter and column versions). The system is engineered to be flexible, customizable, and easily integrated into any retail layout, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence.The result is a comprehensive and cohesive brand world. The visual identity was consistently deployed across every touchpoint—from B2B sales materials to the final in-store experience—creating a perfect balance between a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic and the product's vibrant, pop-inspired personality.
